World Leaders Condemn North Korea Nuclear Tests
World leaders were united today in condemning the North Korean nuclear tests:
“By acting in blatant defiance of the United Nations Security Council, North Korea is directly and recklessly challenging the international community,” Obama said. “The danger posed by North Korea’s threatening activities warrants action by the international community.”
“North Korea’s underground nuclear test … causes deep regret and the most serious concern,” said Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s spokeswoman, Natalya Timakova.
“We consider it a provocation and we strongly condemn them,” European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso said.
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown described the nuclear and missile tests as “erroneous, misguided and a danger to the world”
“The Chinese side vehemently demands North Korea abides by its denuclearization promises, stop any actions which may worsen the situation and return to the six-party talks process,” China said in a statement.
European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana branded the test a “flagrant violation” of a Council resolution which required “a firm response.”
Ontario Premier, Dalton McGuinty, promised to impose a tax on pop cans.
That McGuinty, he’s never afraid to make the tough choices.
Now that world leaders have displayed their angst and regret over North Korea’s actions, now what? Hmmmmm, the sharply worded letter hasn’t seemed to work. The faux anger has gotten them nowhere. What to do, what to do?
I think I know.
Do nothing. Don’t send a sharply worded letter, don’t display any anger or regret, and don’t call the UN Security Council together for an emergency meeting. Just sit back and act like a bunch of inept bureaucrats that lack spine and resolve. Be total pussies and act like your testicles have been shoved into your stomach. Be cowards and chicken-shits and show leadership by lack of leadership. Run away like a little girl that just saw a spider, but for the love of any God but the Christian God, DO NOT stand up to that pint-sized, narcissistic little prick from North Korea.

Mayor, it is incumbent on YOU to write a letter of condemnation of these unfortunate activities by Kim. All Mitchieville, except maybe cudgel, steamboat, Rebellious Todd, Dino, reg,etc.,etc., deplores nuclear testing under ground!
We like ‘em way up in the sky at night, so we can see the neat flames!
btw, McGuinty just gave me an idea. Perhaps he can solve the Caledonia sit-in by raising tobacco taxes again, then the Indians would be too busy smuggling to care about some crappy land claim.
