MENSA Friday

Yesterday, I checked the news around 2 and found out that Farrah Fawcett had died. Around 7 I checked the news again and found out that Michael Jackson had passed away. An hour later it was being reported that Jeff Goldblum died. At that point, I thought the rapture was upon us. Fortunately for Goldblum, they were only talking about his career and not his physical self.
As expected, the media is completely lit-up over Michael Jackson’s death. I’ve heard so many glowing reports about Jackson in the last 12 hours that for a minute I thought they musn’t be talking about the child molester, but some other equally famous Michael Jackson. Cuz at the end of the day, when all is said and done, sure, he could dance and sing, but he was a child molester. Hey look, a dog is driving a car! Hahahaha.
This is the last MENSA Friday until the fall, it is a time for great reflection. Hahaha, a dog is driving a car! How freakin’ great is that?!
If you’re keeping count, which no doubt you are, Finn, Larry, Mr Fnortner, and RightTurnClyde answered both MENSA questions correctly last week making them a proud foursome of MENSA-Headed Smarty-Panted Winners of the Week. Just having that distinction will get you prompt service at any restaurant in Mitchieville. But it’s still best to make reservations.
Since this is the last week of MENSA until the fall, I’ll reveal the winners through the comment section some time next week. If I remember. Maybe it’s best you remind me.
1) There is only one common English word that is an anagram of GRAPHICALLY.
What is it?
2) At the carnival, there are two ticket prices: child admission tickets cost $2 each and adult admission tickets cost $3 each. A group of 15 people has purchased admission tickets for a total of $34.
How many in the group are children.
3) Use the initials to name famous actors, their roles, and their movies. For example, A.H. as E.D. in M.F.L. translates to Audrey Hepburn as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady.
1 – C.G. as R.B. in G.W.T.W.
2 – H.F. as I.J. in R.O.T.L.A.
3 – E.W. as F.B. in T.L.O.T.R.: T.R.O.T.K.
4 – J.F. as C.S. in T.S.O.T.L.
5 – M.M. as A.P. and D.E. in A.P.: I.M.O.M.
That last question was such a pain in the ass to type out that if a question like that comes up again I’m going to rip it out of the book and throw in away. Because I’m tough like that.
Thank you one and all for a terrific season of MENSA Friday. I’ll continue the MENSA Teasers on Wednesday and resume the Friday MENSA’s sometime in September.
Please leave your answers in the comment section and your hatred and bias at the door.

RightTurn & Daily beat me to it. So, now if I post my answers it will look like I cheated…or like I’m an idiot.
