Happy Independence Day

white-house-destroyed

From the bottom of our collective hearts, a happy Independence Day goes out to all our American brothers and sisters. As Nancy so well put it on Dominion Day, “Love sharing the continent with you, thanks for being friends and good neighbours.”

This is a painful year for a lot of Americans. Sometimes it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Always remember though, things always work out exactly the way they were intended to, and more importantly, in order to build up, sometimes you must tear down.

For today though, strike up the Q and throw some dead animal flesh on it, suck back a few brown pops, and take it easy. Most importantly, come back to Mitchieville hoping for the slightest chance that I may have updated. That’s really what this day is all about.

Mr. Mayor, thank you for the good wishes for our nation. You are so correct. It is a painful year for many of us. In truth, it is a painful year for ALL of us…but some do not realize it yet.

It is heartening to know that our neighbors to the North care deeply about their southern brethren, and our fortunes. I mean it, sincerely.

We truly are “all in this together.” We are gonna need each other, if we will ever see this juggernaut reversed. We shall see.

Yes, happy Independence from the British Day. Eat, drink, and go golfing!

Couldn’t have better neighbours than the U.S.A.!

Love that image. It perfectly portrays my mood this holiday. Fireworks aren’t the only thing blowing up and raining down upon us here in the USA.

I gratefully accept your kind good wishes.

I am in pain too but I’m an optimist so I’ll just keep on believing that the US is bigger, tougher and smarter than the clown leading it.

Paint the White House black, er what? Great desktop picture there, Mayor. Very progressive.

  6. Woody Says:

It’s not the White House, it’s the Capitol. No dome on the White House.
