Red Terror, White Terror
Harking back to my childhood indoctrination in Communism in the Ontario Public School system, I recall a great Bolshevik leader called Bela Kun * . I was delighted to find information about him on the internet, as I do not have access to my high school library any more. My marxist math teacher told us about Bela Kun when he was not teaching us about Karl Liebknecht * , Rosa Luxembourg * , Eric Honecker * , Ho Chi Minh * , or Pierre Elliot Trudeau * , and it brings back happy memories of my happy days in school under the red flag of the Canadian peoples.
The chilling tales of the White Terror in Hungary * my math teacher would tell! He even used films from the CBC (more so Rosa Luxembourg, if you are familiar with the CBC’s extensive catalogue on Red Leaders, Red Events, and Red Triumphs). So, the White Terror in Hungary is familiar to me. You can imagine my susprise when I discovered that before the White Terror, there was a Red Terror in Hungary * . My marxist math teacher never told us about this. It must have slipped his mind. I only heard good things about Bela Kun when I was not learning math, science, english, and history. And I have carried that legacy of fluffy, fairy dust, warm, gooey goodness that is Bolshevik indoctrination in Ontario public education for years of politically correct life here in Ontario.
You can read yourself about the Red Terror in Hungary. There are more Red Terrors, in Ethiopia * , and Spain *. Do a little research of your own and you will find that these white terrors always follow red terrors. This makes the reds look bad, which is probably why my marxist math teacher left it out. It is a better sell.
Maybe one of the registered fascists from the fascist fighting Human Rights Commissions (there are so many!) will change the wikipedia entries. Regardless, history teaches us that white terror follows red terror, as surely as Mike Harris follows Bob Rae. That is history, and that is truth, and we can learn from it, unlike the herstory of the fairy dust kingdom of the progressives.
