God Works in Mysterious Ways

Keyser was under the impress that a ganesh was one of those Jewish food things you buy in Brooklyn. But no. It turns out that it’s a sort of Hindu god that might choose to manifest himself in your plants.

The Jamaica man is convinced the mysterious blossom is an incarnation of the elephant-headed Hindu god Ganesh – and neighbors and friends are flocking to see it.

The nearly 4-foot-tall flower grew in June and began to resemble an elephant’s head and trunk in August. Lal said that the ailments that had plagued him for months disappeared.

Well, it’s nice to know that this Hindu god is of more utility than an image of Mother Theresa that appears in a miraculous cinnamon bun.

I once had a piece of spinach that looked exactly like Estelle Geddy. Sure, Estelle is no Ganesh, but it was still pretty cool.

I still have it in my fridge.
