Friday’s Retro 80’s Trivia
Last Friday’s General Trivia game turned into a bit of a cock-up, as I wrote down the correct answers on a napkin and the next night proceeded to spill booze all over said napkin. I can make out three of the four answers, but one of the answers looks like a Russian letter. So, I guess what I’m getting at is everyone was a winner last week, except for my bladder and liver, which should be taken out and hung on a clothesline.
That was only the second time in over three years that I messed up Trivia/Mensa Friday, I’ll make sure it never happens again. I’ll make sure from now on that I will only write the answers down on TLDG’s uterus.
Today I am going to do the retro thing and present you with a bit of 80’s TV and movie trivia. Everyone loves the 80’s, except for fashion, good taste and commies. C’mon, follow me to some 80’s trivia.
I have five questions for you, ranging from easy to hard, and zoning in and out between stupid and smart. Let’s see how you do:
1) In the show Cheers, what was the name of the bar that always played practical jokes on the gang at Cheers?
2) Name the spinoff show from Who’s the Boss?
3) In ‘Dirty Dancing’ what was Baby’s real name?
4) In ‘Back To The Future’, where did Doc Brown get the plutonium to power the time-travelling DeLorean?
5) The Primetime Emmy Awards telecast on ABC in 1985 was interrupted by what unusual event?
I know that most of you can’t remember what you had for breakfast this morning, so trying to remember something from the 80’s is going to be a stretch. You do remember the 80’s, don’t you? Sure you do. In the 80’s you owned an alligator shirt, had parachute pants and rocked out to the musical stylings of Spandau Ballet. Yikes.
Leave you answers in the comment section and have a womderful day.

I’m ashamed to say that all I know is that Baby’s name was Frances.
