The 1st edition of The Infidel Blogger Awardsare now accepting nominations in 10 categories. What are the Infidel Blogger Awards? Who is The Mayor choosing in each category? Why are there red blotches betwixt my things? 1) Well, the Infidel Blogging Awards salutes the Very Best in Non-Canadian Human Rights Commission Approved Punditry. 2) I will tell you who I am choosing after the fold. 3) You aren’t washing yourself properly. You need to take more time in the shower and always make sure to give yourself a thorough wash *down there*. It would also be wise to consult your doctor is symptoms persist.

The best thing about The Infidel Blogger Awards is that Mitchieville isn’t going to be nominated in any of the categories, meaning, The Mayor will not have a big, juicy fatwa shoved down his throat. Having said that, many members of his cabinet will. Open wide infidels, your fatwa is on its way.

I perused the various Infidelic categories this afternoon, and I can’t decide which one tickled me the most, they are all so great. For instance:

1) Blogger most likely to face a Section 13(1) complaint

2) Most insulting to the CHRC Blog Post

3) Most Insulting to the Prophet Blog Post

4) Best Anti-Islamist Blog Post

5) Best Infidel Blogger – non-restricted category

9) Least Favourite Useful Idiot MSM Pundit

10) Biggest Pro-Censorship Ass-Hat

Bloggers can be nominated in more than one category, and most of the bloggers I have chosen could easily be nominated in every category. The infidels I have chosen for most of these categories are: Blazing Cat Fur, Dust My Broom, No Libs, Marginalized ACTION Dinosaur, Kathy Shaidle, Small Dead Animals.

I suggest reading through the various categories, get your laugh on, and then submitting each and every one of these fabulous infidels to one of the selected categories. Remember, this is a Canajun thing, so don’t go nominating some Swedish infidel, this is a great white north infidel thing.

An awards like this is long overdue, let’s have some fun and happy fatwa-ing!
