Partisans

My father was a soldier in the British Army in the Second World War. He was rather older than the fathers of the rest of the kids when I grew up. I learnt some neat things from my Dad. Her served as a liason to the Serbian partisans in occupied Yugoslavia in 1943. Statistically, he should not have survived. But he did.

Now that I am homeless, many of his lessons are coming back to me. Gather resources. Recruit allies. Undermine your enemy. Deny resources to the enemy.

What I can do to help my friends is to vote for them in these blogger contests. It is not as satisfying as, say, blowing up a propaganda office or shooting a traitor in the stomach, but it does fulfil the support your own side concept.

I write for Mitchieville I haven’t been anything very funny lately, but they are up for a heading. I used to be funny, before I lost my home, my job, my car, and the ability to select the television channel, but Mitchieville is a funny place. Support the Mayor.

I write for Dust My Broom. It is the group blog I recommend, and not just because I am a contagious, vengeful, resourceful, intellegent, and crafty. Darcy has a good product, a good brand, and a good name. Support him in this.

I write for Stormy Days of March, but she does not like me linking back to the riff raff who hang out in Mitchieville and Dust My Broom. And, Paladiea has not been nominated for anything. Oh well.

I think alot about my Dad recently. He was a kid during the Great Depression. He taught me my first ten numbers, one to ten. They were in Serbian. The kindergarten teacher thought this was cute, and I learnt english numbers quickly. He also taught me two little slogans that are useful to remember in times such as these. One is a Serbian slogan that I cannot type in the proper characters, but it goes Smert Fascismo, which translates as Death to Fascists. This is what I say alot, it helps my chest hurt less when I cough. The other slogan is Who Dares, Wins. Some of my Dads buddies used this as their regimental slogan. You can use it too.

I, Fenris Badwulf, wrote this.
