Texas Inmate Hates Prison Food–Prefers Own

A Texas death row inmate who was arrested for killing his estranged wife and two children, then ripping their hearts out, has pulled his own eye out of its socket and told authorities he ate it:

While in the Grayson County Jail in Sherman, Thomas plucked out his right eye before his trial later in 2004. A judge subsequently ruled he was competent to stand trial.

A death-row officer at the Polunsky Unit of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice found Thomas in his cell with blood on his face and took him to the infirmary.

“”Thomas said he pulled out his eye and subsequently ingested it,” agency spokesman Jason Clark said Friday.

I believe it’s safe to say that Thomas has never looked  at life through rose-coloured glasses,  nor will he ever again. It might just be a case that he doesn’t see eye to eye  with anyone, and authorities should have really kept an eye on him  to make sure he didn’t commit any crimes. That’s the problem though, justice can be blind.  I’m sure when Thomas was convicted, he didn’t see it coming,  but the one thing that turned out well is that Texas justice firmly believes in an eye for an eye,  and when a jury convicted this monster, they unanimously declared when asked if Thomas was guilty, aye aye!

People like Thomas can’t be kept out of sight  and out of mind, when he first eyeballed  his victims, authorities should have blindsided  him and had the vision  to see  that he was indeed an eye-sore.

I suppose hindsight is 20/20.

Holy SHIT! Mayor, please you have to quit reporting on these things. I am currently curled up in the corner, sucking my thumb and peeing my pants. All because this guy is still alive. Will someone please give this poor guy a knife so he can finish eating himself?

Let’s not even mention that the guy looks like he’s ten years old.

The amazing part to me is that I have never heard of this case before. I thought I’ve heard of pretty much every bizarre and harrowing case, yet somehow this plum slipped by me?

I’m not sure how I could have missed this initially? Was it even considered newsworthy, or is this another Channon Christian and Chris Newsom type case?

Unfortunately, it’s very difficult to find rose-colored monocles, although maybe if they look in Germany……

    Could change his entire outlook!

  4. The Mayor Says:

I’m not sure about that. I have a feeling that he’d just take the monocle, break it in half, and cut his other eye out.

Might be worth giving him one then…
