Obama And Gates-Gate

I know that pretty much everything has been said regarding the story of professor Gates being arrested by a white officer in Cambridge, but I’d like to focus for a minute on the comments Obama made today about the situation:
After Crowley responded to a breaking-and-entering call, Gates accused the officer of racism when the officer asked him for identification at his own home. Crowley arrested Gates for disorderly conduct.
The question about the incident came at the end of a press conference in which the president did little to make news or move the ball forward on healthcare. His comments about the Cambridge Police quickly filled that vacuum.
Asked about the exchange, Obama admitted to being “a little biased” because Gates is a friend of his.
“Now, I don’t know, not having been there and not seeing all the facts, what role race played in that, but I think it’s fair to say, No. 1, any of us would be pretty angry,” Obama said.
Obama went on to say “that the Cambridge Police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home.”
He added that “there is a long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately. That’s just a fact.”
In an interview with ABC News on Thursday, Obama stood by his comments even though he said he understands Crowley is an “outstanding police officer.”
Keep in mind the officer Obama and Gates are directly and indirectly calling a racist, saved the life of Reggie Lewis (by mouth to mouth resuscitation), the Boston Celtics star who had a heart attack in 1993 during a practice game at Brandeis University. Keep in mind this is the same officer who “has taught a class about racial profiling for five years at the Lowell Police Academy after being hand-picked for the job by former police Commissioner Ronny Watson, who is black“.
But when your only tool is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
And that’s how it is with Gates and Obama. They are cut from the same cloth. Even though Obama admits he is a *little biased* because Gates is a friend of his, and even though Obama admits he was unaware of “all the facts“, he still had no trouble calling out an entire police force, calling them stupid (or the officer stupid, or whoever Gibbs says is stupid today), and then segueing into a rant about how badly minorities have been treated in America in the past.
All this without knowing “all the facts.”
Obama went to a church where his pastor (Wright) railed against whites and Jews, he simply hated them. Obama listened to this for 20 years. Obama contributed to the racist, got married by the racist, had his daughters baptized by the racist, and accepted communion by the racist. That’s a fact. That cannot be disputed. Gates, OTOH, teaches racism and African studies and is known as a radical on campus — you can tell what he thinks of whites by the way he treated the officer that arrested him.
Imagine, the President of the United States just called out an officer because he responded to a call about a break and enter and asked someone for identification to prove they lived in the house. Nothing more, nothing less. But could Obama and Gates possibly see this from the officer’s side? NEVER. Because the officer is white. Imagine, without knowing any of the facts in this case, he had the nerve to lecture the whole country on how bad the white man has treated blacks and Latinos in the past.
And this also needs to be said: Do you know why blacks and Latinos get pulled over more by cops, and why there are more blacks and Latinos in jail? Because they committ a disproportionate amount of the crime in the US. That’s a FACT.
The leftards will surely side with Obama and Gates, and over the next few days you will hear what a racist shithole America is. You will probably hear every minor story from how some white guy stole some black guys shoes to how some white guy called some black guy a bad name. This is to take your eye off the main story, and that is: The President of the United States is a racist. And an idiot. But mostly he’s a racist.
So, how do you like your first post-racial President now?
**Or maybe Obama hates Cambridge because of those 17 tickets he had there — you remember those tickets, don’t you? Ya, those are the ones he decided to pay two weeks before he ran for President.

Wait, don’t all racists have to be idiots, but not all idiots are racists? Chicken, egg, you know?

“But when your only tool is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.” I’ve never heard that expression before but I will enjoy using it when an opportunity arises.

“But when your tool is a nail, be careful with hammers.”
