Get That Dog Outta Here Week

doesnt-belong

It’s so cute when dogs hug each other. I see this type of behaviour in not only dogs but ALL animals and it makes me happy because I truly believe the animal kingdom can teach us mere humans a thing or two when it comes to getting along with one another. Just look how happy the hugger dog seems. It’s as if he (or she) is bringing as much joy to its friend as it is to itself. And that’s why I call on you tonight to go out and give a reverse hug to the next person you see. Just go up from behind and start hugging them like they’ve never been hugged before. And if they ask you what you’re doing, you tell them The Mayor said it’s cool.

Whenever you attend an outdoor function with your young kids, two dogs will always do the act. Whether it’s just opportunism or exhibitionism I’don’t know, but you’re left trying to explain what they’re doing,to your toddler.

Noel Coward’s classic explanation, quoted in David Niven’s book,”The Moon’s a Balloon” can’t be surpassed.
