wow, just wow.
any common idiot knows that brushed nickel or a stainless finish will hide most fingerprints, WHY is it so difficult to find good help in a store now-a-days? don’t even get me started on those towel bars, 99% of them are 24 inches long and studs are placed at 16 inches on center, it’s doesn’t work for anyone if there isn’t 2×4 backing in the walls. No wonder those guys were crying. Sure it’ll hold a wet towel, but if you’re trying to catch your honey as she’s sneaking into the washroom tryin’ to take a pee while you’re “getting ready” in the shower, her instinct is to grab hold of something so she can make that clean get-a-way and adios towel bar. I don’t need to prove this again, I’ve proven it by research.
and just a heads up for ya’ll, the boys are recorded in front of some of those Price Phister (the maroon colored boxes) faucets, we used to call them “Fisher Price” faucets because they’re garbage, just stick with Delta or Kohler and you’ll be happy, at least they can be repaired and your plumber won’t laugh to himself/herself as she’s installing for you.

We have a few Peerless faucets and they seem to be pretty good so far, but if I had to give one word of advice about stand-up showers – get one with tinted glass. Not for the privacy aspect, but rather for the cleaning aspect. Sure, they’ll both get dirty (from soap scum), but the clear ones will really show the scum after about a month and it’s kind of embarrrassing. At least the tinted ones hide the scum.
The decision to get clear glass made me cry.
Funny you should mention that about the towel bars. Damn if all if we don’t have a hanging one as I type this. Damn 24″ bars.
