Black History Month in Mitchieville – 10/02/14
A great thing that progressives have introduced into Western culture is the reworking of the meanings of words. This clip shows a group of teens. No doubt, the teens come from a disadvantaged background and need our help to get over the legacy of colonialism in Africa. As for the security guards, employment equity comes to mind. So, when you are riding on public transit here in Toronto, you can smile, embrace diversity, and feel happy knowing that you live in a multi-cultural paradise.

And if a guard did stop the attacker, God help him if she got hurt (or said she got hurt). His picture would have been on the news as a rougue security guard that beat up a teenage girl.
Criminals have far more rights than law abiding people.

Security guards have no more legal rights than a private citizen. In this case, the attacker appeared to be an African-American girl, and any action by the SG would have been unacceptable to the PC Court system.
One SG did appear to try to verbally intervene,and that’s all that he could legally do. Armchair quarterbacks love to say “he shoulda”, but when something like this occurs in their presence, most of them don’t do anything either.
The attacking gang had ten members,there were three SG’s,had they intervened, we probably would have seen three SG’s getting their heads stomped in too.
And the Security Company would NOT back them up in a Worker’s Compensation claim, as intervening was NOT part of their regular duties.
The solution is to hire more cops,because no one will give police powers to minimum wage security guards. A good reporter would follow up on this story to see what punishment is meted out to the attacker,because that’s where the fault lies.
Thugs know they have nothing to fear from the Courts,so they’re free to do whatever they want. If the refined young head stomper lady was given ten years in jail with no parole,instead of the 100 hours of community service she’s about to get, you might see a reluctance to perpetrate these types of crimes.
In the meantime,it’s way easier to blame the security guards.
