When you hear of 10% unemployment, you might imagine 1/10th of Americans experiencing extreme financial stress from the recent recession. ’till it blows sky high.
    stows inside,
    sail right by,
    blows sky high,
    my, oh, my,

oh shit, I can’t keep this up, Mayor

and on that note Nancy, here’s more entertainment for us.
the video for the Club-K system.

It looks like China is way better managed than the U.S.,possibly due to the relative differences in the experience of the Leaders.

I like the idea of that Russian cruise missile, wouldn’t mind having one myself.

And nancy, I’m glad you can’t keep up that rhyming thing,I was beginning to worry about you. ;-)

  4. dmorris Says:

    marc,great video,thanks! Now,are they affordable?

  5. marc in calgary Says:

I believe they’re about $10. million / system, with 4 in a system. I know they come 4/1 container, but it’s not real clear if it’s 1 system for $10m. or 1 missile for $10m. but as far as bang for your buck, with the new cost of an American aircraft carrier over $6. billion … and that doesn’t include the 70 ? F/A 18 Super Hornets + 20 ? assorted helicopters.. I think that’s the top end of the destruction ratio. What could be better for the budding “Bin Morris” ?
Clearly if it’s fitted with a nuclear warhead, then all bets are off for New York.
I used the USS George H.W. Bush as the model for comparison, I’d say it’s target #1 for the budding revolutionary simply on name recognition. and the Russians, same as the French, would justify the sale, by the cash they received, from anyone.

  6. dmorris Says:

    What a ship! Thx,marc.

Y’know,Canada could afford one of those if we took about 75% of the annual operating budget of DIAND and invested it in shipbuilding.

  7. The Mayor Says:

That was a GREAT video, scarier than hell, but great.

That’s what we need to keep Mitchieville’s enemies at bay. And from what I gather, they seem to be multiplying each and every day.

  8. The Mayor Says:

    lol – Bin Morris.

  9. dmorris Says:

Easy there,Mayor,we Islamics are sensitive! Allahu akhbar!

  10. marc in calgary Says:

I think I’m done with gene multiplication… at least until they just start to divide on their own with the coming nuclear winter…

and the best/worst news of all? the last I heard, the US/EE.UU was visually checking about 1/1000 containers being imported into the country, and that was with a man that Loved his country, not O’bama. What’s the cost of shipping one 40 ft sea can across the Med and Atlantic from Iran via the Suez via Greece via Portugal with 4 sets of (fake as my 40 DD boobs) ship’s manifests? Portugal’s never tried to bomb us before…?

    Lets call it for … $10,005,000. US/EE.UU.
It may be an uncomfortable comparison, but that’s less than the cost of 4 passenger jets.

  11. J.M. Heinrichs Says:

The cost of the missile container may be $10M, but the video neglected to discussion the extra kit needed to make this work. Amongst other things, finding the target. And doing maintenance on the system. And keeping track of what’s where and when. And signature control.
