Or WAS this the MENSA Teaser on Andy’s site a few week’s ago?

Believe it, or not! I got this quiz a couple of years ago. I laughed like crazy.

So, I asked Mrs. Andy to give an answer.

She said, “Ladasha,” without batting an eyelid.

And, I. AIN’T. KIDDING! She knew it right off.

Of course, my wife is half negro, and eats watermelon, possum, and tripe for supper (when available). However, I shall never reveal my “pet name” I call my little nigger gal.

If the dash don’t be silent, her name is actually Lehyphena, because that is a hyphen. Of course, her mother is an idiot, so how would she know that?

A dash is longer and has other very particular meanings.

Hmmm. A good set up for a lifetime job in the non-ability public service.

Anyone smirking is guilty of racism; if caught on tape, a case can be made, articles written, and paycheques flow.

I come across this all the time.

I called someone called Jellello, later, there was someone called Sh’dip.

When you pronounce them wrong, they get testy. Being a telemarketer, I pronounce them wrong, on purpose, but carry it off like I know what I am saying. Just make it up … works for the leftists; works for me.

Considering that Frank Zappa named his daughter Moon Unit and his son Dweezil, the actual name Ladasha ain’t all that hard on the ear. But Jeebus!

If this twit daughter had any brains, she’d beat on her mother with a crowbar – daily – for coming up with a name like that. But then just look at her – high intelligence isn’t the first thing to come to mind, is it?

(Just had a thought. Is it possible that Mr & Mrs Powell named their son “:” and he had the schmicks enough to actually change it?)

GC, you’re claiming Adam Clayton Powell’s real name is Asterisk Period Asterisk Powell!??

Or am I misunderstanding your post completely?

As to the “La dash-a” thingy,I’d have never gotten that one!

I guess I’m just not fluent in African-American.

  6. Godless Commie Says:

No, I was referring to former US SecState Colin Powell. For unfathomable reason, reporters everywhere insist on pronouncing his first name as “Colon” rather than “Colin”, and so …..

  7. Sisyphus Says:

I wonder what Lemonjello and Orangejello think about all this.
