According To Rasmussen, Wendy’s Is America’s Favourite Fast Food

Mind you, chewing the sole off your own shoe came in a close second, so there ya go:
Americans favor Wendy’s fast food over McDonalds and Burger King, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports national survey of adults.
“Sixty one percent have at least a somewhat favorable view of Wendy’s, including 16% with a Very Favorable opinion,” Rasmussen said. “Thirty-two percent regard Wendy’s unfavorably, with 11% who have a very unfavorable view.”
Ronald McDonald made it in second place, drawing a favorable raring from 56 percent of Rasmussen’s respondents, and an unfavorable rating from 38 percent. Very unfavorable ratings totalled 18 percent for McDonalds.
Bringing up the rear in third place was Burger King,”with 51% who hold a favorable opinion, including 10% with a Very Favorable one. Forty-two percent have an unfavorable view of the burger chain, with 16% Very Unfavorable,” according to Rasmussen.
Put another way, the top two favourite fast food restaurants in the US have red-headed spokespeoples, while the bronze medalist has a frolicking gaylord as theirs. Think about it.
The Mayor can honestly say that he knows little about Wendy’s food. The last time he went there was about 20 years ago and remembers being put off by their crappy fries and square burgers. He remembers thinking, “this is Canada, burgers are round. Take your square burgers back to the Soviet Union and shove them in your ass.”
The Mayor was a bitter young man back then, as you can see.
The last few years The Mayor has cut back on his fast food, limiting trips to Booger King of McCraptastic’s to once a month or so. Sometime’s my colon is calling out for a good fast food stretching, and Pukes and Booger’s never fail to satisfy my screaming colon.
Thank you Booger and Pukes, from the bottom of my colon.

That’s just silly. If Wendy’s were the most popular fast food, the would be at the top of the heap in terms of sales. Maybe they shouldn’t have taken the poll at the annual Wendy’s corporate convention.

Maybe they took the poll from 1500 people named Wendy.

They have an extensive bacon / hamburger menu.
I feel safe there. All the Wendy’s I’ve been to have been quite clean, friendly.

I’m gonna go in the “Yep” category with Wendy’s.
Way better than all the other crap available at fast food joints. WAY.
My older brother is the chief health inspector in a metro area of roughly 500,000 people. Wendys is the only fast food joint he’ll eat at.
I spent a good bit of time working in the restaurant biz, and found out that Wendys has a top notch operation. But, the square burgers put me off at first when I first saw one about 30 years ago. Turned me in to a vegetarian, they did!

The square burger reminds me of the time McDonald’s brought out the sausage McMuffin. I couldn’t figure out what it was. Was it a burger? Was it meat? I was stupmed.
3000 Sausage McMuffin’s later and I’m still not sure. But man are they ever tasty.
