A flock of Black Swans

Amongst those that seek to prepare for the future, preparation for calamity is all the rage. Doom manifests from likely to unlikely; and much beer and ink is spilled in conversation over which black swan is going to show up first. Take your pick: N-people rioting, Plague invincible, Never muslim terrorism … Take your pick, prepare. Do it silent, the statists are watching. The problem being you do not know what the unknown is, until it is known. Let us look at another one, shall we?

Canada’s evil hard extremist right wing fanatic Christian ruler, Stephen Harper (you can rearrange the adjectives as you see fit; anything to appease the ability challenged activists) has meddled in the gravy train that is immigration in Canada * . Big deal. Who cares? Sure, a case load of a typical socialist social services sector satrap is thirty files: thirty ‘grants, or thirty refug’s gives a job to a paper pusher. Stack up your satraps enough and you have a supervisor, a payroll clerk, office space, photo copy paper, and a need for parking. Each ‘grant or refug’ needs four taxpayers to keep them, so Harper putting his pinkie in the upflowing toilet of tax spending that is our immigration is more a gesture (to appease the rabid, blood thirsty crazed fetus fetishists of the right white wing, etcetera etcetera). We have no border controls, and the leftists welcome the tax eating never workers for their votes, their justification of their jobs (hence pensions, bankable sick days, and slurping down of white guilt), so the flow will continue; but perhaps lessened. There are signs it has: car theft is down in Toronto; public urination on public transit has declined by gallons; and there are trembles in the real estate market that demand for housing has, is, dropping.

Surely those how many hundred thousand a year of immigrants and illegals could not have an effect on the Housing Market in Toronto? Some will be pleased that their wallets and purses are no longer to be raided to pay for it; some will be sad because they won’t be able to have jobs servicing their social justice needs, nor tasting the white guilt that lubricates their passage. However, you do not need a Ph.D in Marxist economics to realize that a decline in demand leads to … decline in demand. Ask your ebonic to english tutor assigned to you by your thesis advisor. That po’ whi’ boi is there it ground you in the basics. Less bodies, less demand. My spies on the ground tell me this is so: empty spaces, vacancy rates dropping in the sort of places that the tax spenders like to stay, and less demand for ancillary services: assault and rape lawyers, home clitoridectomy providers, and bed bug spraymen.

Less bad is good, Fenris.
No it is not. The housing market in Toronto is overvalued, and anything that weakens demand can trigger the bubble bursting. The collapse of Toronto housing market is usually attributed, by those gloomy white right hard extremists, to such things as a shortage of tax payers to buy houses. Well, if how many tens of thousands of units are demanded a year by the tax spender coddled are no longer demanded, will there not be an effect? Who cares? I have my preparations made. Could be anything, the Black Swan.

What’s your problem? why do you keep linking to TorStar? Do you read it for free at work? Do you “borrow” it from your neighbor’s porch steps? Do you hate us? Is that it? Is it hate? It is isn’t it?

    Yes, answer the question, please!

I link to the Red Star in order to poison them.

Their minions check the links and are exposed, in a NLP modeling way, to certain behaviors and thoughts that, slowly/quickly act as post hypnotic suggestions.

Also, on another level, by linking to approved Red Wisdom, I show how their own thoughts lead to a reductio ad absurdum. As in this case.

    Does that make sense?

and in a “keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer” sort of way…

Surely, if I linked to Stormfront, Friends of the Stripmine, or the UFO Friends network, say, I would confuse my message by the perceived slant of my source.

I have pains sending traffic to the Red Star. I will look at some other sources and experiment with them.

Supplemental: I found a few amusing sources to link to. I will send a complementary two bags of concrete to the Red Star
