7 dollars, that was a CRAP load of money in thoes days.

One of my favourite cap guns was a Wyatt Earp Buntline Special,which had a 8 or 9 inch barrel.

It looked cool but wasn’t much good in a fast draw with one of the Bad Guys. I was killed frequently. I was left wondering how Wyatt lived so long if he used one of those.

I’d have died and gone to heaven for a setup like the one in the video!

I love the smell of fired caps in the morning, it’s the smell of childhood.

Think of all the depraved children of today who don’t experience the smell and feel of a warm cap gun.

My favourite was a life size Colt 45 repeating pistol, complete with a revolving cylinder where you individually loaded a cap in each bullet. That MF’er weighted a couple of pounds and was great in building up wrist strength for handling the “long gun” later in life.
