Who Is That Guy?
If your name is Finn, Andrew, or Dino, you will be happy to know that you were correct last week, The Who Is That Guy? was indeed Lambert Wilson. You will also be sad to know that on average, Mitchieville receives upwards of 40 pieces of spam a day, which means I’m constantly housecleaning this place trying to rid that crap out of the comment section. You may want to think about that the next time you’re having fun, guessing the names of b-roll actors and looking at various pictures of people with objects shoved in their rectums. Other than track ‘em down and stick a bullet in their stupid heads, if anyone has any decent suggestions on how to get rid of Word Press spam, send The Mayor an email and let me know. The free world depends on it.
Who is this Guy, you ask? That’s not how the game is played, it is rather I ask you that question. Let us first have a boo at some of the accomplishments this fella has accomplished over his many years on planet earth:
Starred in many movies, and became well-known initially as Dr. David Thornton on All My Children, playing the role from 1976 to 1978. He is perhaps best remembered for his role as Richard Vernon, the gruff disciplinary principal in the seminal 1985 movie The Breakfast Club. He reprised versions of that character several times, including in an A*Teens music video, on the television show Boy Meets World (although he was a dean on BMW) and in the films Johnny Be Good and Not Another Teen Movie. As a bookend to his modern fame as strict disciplinarian, he played a tough yet forgiving and nurturing professor to the lead character in Van Wilder.
Is known to Star Warsfans for his role as Jeremitt Towani in the 1985 made-for-TV film The Battle for Endor. He played the villainous Clarence ‘Mr’ Beeks in the famous 1983 comedy Trading Placesstarring Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy. He also played Deputy Police Chief Dwayne T Robinson, the blowhard police official in Die Hard.
All that being said, if you don’t know him from The Breakfast Club, I highly doubt any of the other information is going to set off light-bulbs in your head.
Well, I’m off to fight spam, for I am SpamMan®, junk fighter extraordinaire. And if you’re thinking about stealing my SpamMan moniker, don’t even try, it has that little r beside it.
