I’ve taught my kid to beat the living shit out of anyone who touches him. I seriously hope some dumb-ass retard tries to EVER touch him because of his red hair. I will laugh the entire time my kid is expelled from school for beating senseless the douchebag that touches him. my names siobhan and i live in england and the 13th of october is kick a ginger day over hear so on tuesday im gonna havve the shit kicked out of me cos im bright ginger so im pissed of cos people in my form at school are trying to change it to kick a ginger week wich is realy gay and people i like are telling me their gonna kick me and dont care about being puffs cos they get an excuse to kick random gingers.
also random people keep saying i have no soul and that i probebly wont feel it when they kick me sensles on tuesday its nnot bloody fair cos gingers are just normal people and we do feel pain and we have a soul just like everyone else so back of ginger haters gingers rule!!

People with red hair are a minority just in the same that they do not have control over a physical trait they are born with. Some of them are comfortable with their appearance enough to laugh this sort of thing off as a joke and to them, I applaud you. For those children who are both physically weaker and emotionally bound to their red hair, I feel for you. Already these individuals have to put up with those who bully and take advantage of them, now Canada has a day where the exact same tortuous behavior is encouraged…by ALL students.

If you read up on this in the local Canadian papers, you’ll find kids who were actually roughed up pretty good, getting kicked in the stomach repeatedly I’ve read. Red headed kids have wanted to stay home from school in fear of continued abuse.

Have some empathy for the WEAK red headed kids who already have NO self esteem…they are there and they ARE being abused. What’s worse is everyone who’s not a red head are the ones they must be scared of…take a look around…red heads are not in fellow company. It’s a rare trait and a negative stigma that many people disregard…

They shouldn’t be the BUTT of a joke because of a trait they have NO CONTROL OF!

They had Kick a Ginger Day at one of my sons schools. Too bad for the non gingers that one of the ginger boys is the toughest kid in the school. Once the kicking started, ginger boy happily joined in and mopped the floor with the male population of non gingers.

My son said everyone had a laugh, everyone except for the teachers who suspended 5-6 kids. The gingers were the center of attention, which they loved, there were no deaths, and the gingers are talking about a non-ginger kick day–EXACTLY what we were talking about a few comments ago.

And yes, kids are stupid.
